Fine Art Photography and Me...

 

I am not your typical photographer, while I don't mind shooting people, it is not where my passion lies. I tend to look at things a little differently and the perfection that is not apparent to a casual viewer, this is what allows me to focus on fine art, but I can't just leave it at that...a professor once told me I have quite a unique vision and tend to look at things differently than many photographers and it's not something you learn, you either have it or you don't and that's why I can consider much of my work as Concept Photography. 

 

I am a full time mother of four and while they are great subjects there are times that they wish I would just put the camera down. The opportunities are limitless...

 

I have been able to enjoy my passion of photography because of a very supportive husband, often times we throw ideas back and forth until we have that "ah-ha" moment and then the physical process begins, whether it be building a set or finding the props needed to get the perfect shot.
